Metal Fabrications in

Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and Aluminium

Architectural Metalwork

Architectural Metalwork gives the functionality of a conventional fabricated product but incorporates an artistic element into the design to give a more aesthetic appearance.
This shows originality and an ability to see beyond conventional thinking.

The design and creation of high quality, bespoke stainless steel pieces for home, factory, office or garden, is a developing area for TAS Engineering.

Here are some examples of the type of work we can do:

  • ornamental handrailing
  • decorative staircases
  • balustrades and handrails
  • railings

Tell us what you have in mind and we can assist with the design - alternatively give us a drawing and we'll turn it into a unique, handcrafted, stainless steel item you can be proud of.

This is an area of particular interest to us at TAS as we are very passionate about the quality of our products and architectural work allows the skills of the workforce to be fully utilized. Whilst our everyday work has to meet certain standards it is only higher value applications that allow those standards to be exceeded and our critical attention to detail can be appreciated.

As with any other project we are involved with, we can sit down with the client, their architect and building contractor, to discuss our role within their project. The ability to be involved on all levels and offer input is very important to us as it demonstrates that we have the required amount of commitment and professionalism that the client expects.

Heritage Testimonial

TAS Engineering Ltd. was commissioned to provide and erect the steel frame and profiled metal fascia on a prominent extension to a listed building in Lichfield.Heritage project image

English Heritage and Lichfield District's Conservation Architect appreciated the sensitivity of this conservatory set in a Grade 2 Listed building, and therefore attention to detail was of paramount importance.

Throughout the design process Gareth Davies was most helpful, and he ensured that the pre-fabrication, installation and final finish was of the highest quality.”

Stephen Spence, Architect.
